The inspiration came from a wooden toy I discovered in my mother’s drawer. It was created by Czech toy designer Minka Podhajská.
Minka’s imaginative world of toys always brings us back to a childhood when we believed that everything around us was quietly alive.
From this memory, the Little House Ceramic Incense Holder was born.
Each piece is individually handcrafted and painted. The warm ceramic surface preserves the subtle traces of handcrafting, while its gentle silhouette embraces a quiet little world of its own.
Inside the little house, a cone incense can be placed. As smoke slowly rises from the red chimney, the fragrance becomes a visible thread of memory — warm, innocent, and touched with a little bit of wonder.
